<izutsushi>
do u want my info or not lady
<maidofmisfortune>
of course i do, but i also want a concise summary
<izutsushi>
deal?
<maidofmisfortune>
alright fine, ull probably find out sooner or later anyway
extra knowledge cant ever hurt too badly
<izutsushi>
ok.
for starters I found out that the changes seem to start after a month and after that you can be almost fully transformed in under two. I'm talking you go from human to completely inhuman in a month and a half. and the thing that's causing it.
it's already inside of us.
one guy was talking about people coming back to life when the fog comes in too, but I don't know if I believe that. the fog also makes people change faster but if you've been paying any attention I'm sure you've heard that already.
<maidofmisfortune>
have u heard of the 2 fighting gods? the fog god and the 4th god? people seem 2 b declaring their alignments to either. i would watch out if i were u
the fog god claims 2 b the god who brought us here and is turning us into monsters. he keeps trying 2 convince us to side with him and apparently claims the 4th god will ruin our home worlds if set loose. obviously, the 4th god denies this
the natives of ryslig seem 2 believe in the day god and night god, not these 2 gods. also, another note on the natives, a scientist tried 2 trap and hunt us for his own entertainment some time ago
so id say dont trust too easily but im more worried about ur friend than u
<izutsushi>
the gods? a little, but I didn't think it was for real. just some superstition. I don't plan on pledging my allegiance to any stupid gods real or not. all I want to do is go home with Gon.
thanks for the warning but if anyone tries to hurt Gon
I'll kill them.
<maidofmisfortune>
In any case, she reads that of less 'killing intent' and more 'stupid kid tries acting tough'. Still endearing, nonetheless.]
b careful, then! i dont want my employees 2 get in trouble 2 quickly
[Does Koshōshō even need to answer the first statement? Allegiance isn't something she can decide for someone else.]
<izutsushi>
we'll be fine
don't you do anything stupid either
<maidofmisfortune>
<izutsushi>
<vortexman>
[thnx for the info kanji]
<maidofmisfortune>
[It took ages to wash the blood off her clothes, honestly. She's... not sure if she should tell everyone she met a fucking monstrosity above the mountains and that there's more than they'd think at work right now. She can leave that to the others.
Such information is valuable to keep, after all.]
which friend?
<vortexman>
<maidofmisfortune>
im sure u know its where the fog came from. the mountain was terrible to climb up and what we found makes me doubt if it was worth it!
[So cryptic.]
how much did he tell u? do u know about the monster on top yet?
<vortexman>
[Even if Kanji had to pay the price. He's still angry about that.]
Yes. He told me it could control the mutations of those who were affected. Does that sound right?
[Not that he doubts Kanji's testimony, but it's good to hear from as many people as possible.]
<maidofmisfortune>
[Gross.]
thats right. kanji was the worst out of all of us and i wasnt touched by the fog so it couldnt control me at all. we tried 2 bargain but i dont think every1 else wanted 2 let it go
[Since it. You know. Made them grow extra limbs and eat their friends.]
but in the end it was 2 mutated and grotesque 2 defend itself against us
<vortexman>
[Next time, though, he'll be ready.]
You could bargain with it? Do you mean it tried to communicate with you?
<maidofmisfortune>
how flattering! and yes it tried 2. but it was awfully cryptic and strange. i suppose any1 in a bargaining deal would be
which is why we eventually geared 2wards attacking it at the cost of the mutated limbs amongst us
<vortexman>
<maidofmisfortune>

<maidofmisfortune>
<izutsushi> late on feb. 8th
your not gonna believe this but my friends and little sister were there with the rest of them
this fog god is seriously starting to piss me off
<maidofmisfortune>
[In some semblance or form, she actually does feel pity for Killua. Somewhat. It's been so long since she had any kind of close relation to feel concern about-- no, no it hasn't. But.]
r they with u now?
<izutsushi>
maybe the fog god is looking for powerful people who will side with her
maybe she's looking for ways to coddle us into staying here
either way i dont like it
theyre with me yeah
<maidofmisfortune>
keep an eye on them
u do have a place to stay right
[She can't let her spies be left out in the cold...]
<izutsushi>
[That was worrying. He didn't want his friends or his sister being suddenly whisked away--unless he knew they were headed home.]
we have a house
<maidofmisfortune>
[Assuming she'll ever know. But finding out these things is also part of Killua's job, isn't it?]
thats good! ur not hopeless i c. would they b open 2wards working 4 me as well?
<izutsushi>
[She seemed like his type, and he was probably dumb enough to do it for that alone.]
but i'm not working for you anymore
let's just help each other out. you share information with me and i'll share it with you. we have the same goals dont we? then we should work together. i dont need to get paid.
[But he will totally mooch cash off of you whenever he can.]
<maidofmisfortune>
That's a bit out of nowhere, honestly. She's been wandering around Lager Woods and Bavan for so long-- because while she rose to the top of Plegia's peaks, it's only added onto her suspicion. Keep people away. Everyone dies. Such is her curse.]
r u sure, dear? if we help each other 2 much i might bring u misfortune
[But in this new world, maybe she can defy her fate.]
